Message from the Dean

Dear Students,

Winter semester always seems to go faster than fall semester; it is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching the end of the winter 2009 semester. Prepare well for your exams, consulting with faculty for guidance.

To our graduating seniors, I encourage you to take part in your commencement celebration on May 9. Your dedication and studies culminate with this day that you will remember for years to come. Along with all of your faculty, I look forward to seeing you cross the stage.

Returning students: I wish you a productive and enjoyable summer, and I encourage you to take advantage of the valuable opportunities available to you. Perhaps you plan on enrolling in classes this summer, participating in a Travel Study Program or internship, or working a part-time job. Summer is a great time for rejuvenation, and it also is a great time to test and expand your knowledge, skills, and education.

Best wishes for an invigorating summer and a productive future!

Sincerely,

Don Rosenblum, Ph.D.
Dean, Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences
