Digressions Magazine

Digressions is the student-run literary magazine sponsored by the Division of Humanities. Students are encouraged to submit original works of poetry, short fiction, artwork and photography for consideration in the magazine, which is published yearly in the winter semester.

Gender Studies Minor

The gender studies minor examines the relationship between biological differences and social inequality, explores the construction of sexual identity, and analyzes the variations in gender systems that have occurred across cultures over time. Students will explore the methods and concepts of gender studies in a variety of academic disciplines including film studies, law, literature, philosophy, psychology, and sociology. Students must complete 6 credits in required courses and 9 credits in elective courses. At least 9 credits in the minor must be at the 3000/4000 level.
