Graphic Design Minor
The graphic design minor combines historical knowledge of the design discipline with contemporary problem-solving
technical skills. Students will gain in-depth experience using industry-standard computer software while
acquiring an understanding of graphic design principles and formats. The graphic design minor serves as an
excellent complement to many majors, including marketing, business administration, and communication studies.
This minor will better prepare students for their future careers by offering them marketable skills, enabling them to
become more viable in today’s competitive job market.
Graphic Design Minor Requirements (18 credits)
Core Courses (15 credits)
ARTS 1800 Two-Dimensional Design (3 credits)
ARTS 2410 Graphic Design I (3 credits)
ARTS 2450 Graphic Design II (3 credits)
