The Undergraduate Student Symposium, sponsored by the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, presents student projects and performances through oral presentations, paper submissions, and poster displays.

Broward County Bar Association Program Partnership

The Broward County Bar Association and the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Paralegal Studies Program at Nova Southeastern University are pleased to announce the first in a series of programs designed to expand knowledge and skills in areas identified as critically needed in the local legal community.

Program Description: This program is designed to increase understanding of current bankruptcy laws and how they impact consumers. The difference between filing Chapter 7, Chapter 13, or Chapter 11 will be explained. Alternatives to bankruptcy will be covered. Relationships between creditors and debtors will be explored so that legal professionals can more accurately evaluate the needs of individual clients.
