Membership Information
The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) curriculum is varied. You choose the programs you wish to attend from monthly calendars. Programs feature workshops and presentations from experts in the academic world and other specialized fields.
During the course of each year, class topics include:
- cultural studies
- history
- music appreciation
- art
- world literature
- politics
- health-related subjects
- writing workshops
- Great Books discussion series
- book reviews
LLI members may also audit courses in NSU's Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.
At the beginning of the fall and winter semesters, LLI offers field trips (additional fee required) to museums and other places of interest, as well as get-acquainted Open Houses. Members become as actively involved as they wish, sharing knowledge and participating in dialogues and seminars.
